A merchandiser/salesman is the bridge between the company and the store +customer.
Merchandiser - arrange products on shelves, gondolas and displays to look attractive and follow company planograms. Ensure shelves are always full. Check stock levels and replenish.
Follow FIFO so that old stock sells first. Put up correct price tags, shelf tags and promo materials. Set up POSMs like wobblers, posters and standees. Keep display area neat, clean and dust free.
Saleman - Visit assigned stores/routes daily and build good relationships with store owners and managers. Take customer orders, follow up on deliveries and push new products. Hit daily/weekly/monthly sales targets. Check competitor prices, promos and shelf space. Report to supervisor. Answer customer questions, demo product if needed.
Pay: $52,880.00 – $126,065.54 per year
