About the Opportunity
Nyrstar Port Pirie is currently inviting Expressions of Interest from the following:
Qualified Electrician’s with unrestricted Electrical licence across Australia or New Zealand
New migrants to Australia with restricted Electrical licence requiring bridging to obtain unrestricted licence
Experienced Instrumentation Technicians, including those without an electrical licence but with strong instrumentation skills and industrial experience.
This residential position in Port Pirie, South Australia, offers an attractive equal-time lifestyle roster (4 days on/5 off, 5 on/4 off, 5 on/5 off), providing more days off than a standard weekend—including two full weekends each month—so you can enjoy a healthy work-life balance while contributing to one of Australia’s leading industrial operations.

Relevant electrical trade qualification
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt within a complex processing environment
Additional high-risk or specialist tickets such as: Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Confined Space, or Working at Heights (advantageous)
Experience in heavy industry, mining, or smelting (preferred)
