Job Description
Our hospital theatre department is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our team providing care to a range of perioperative stages and patient pathways. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be providing expert perioperative nursing care and clinical leadership during complex vascular and hybrid surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and sterile field integrity. You will coordinate specialized technology and multi-disciplinary teams in high-acuity surgical environments to deliver advanced, evidence-based patient outcomes.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will be required to act as a team leader, professional resource, passionate mentor, and a positive role model to junior team members. You will maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and manage rapidly changing situations with proficiency and care. This leadership role will see the successful candidate be fully supported to enhance their skills and grow a career into a management position.
About You
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Minimum 4 years post graduate experience in a Vascular and Surgical environment

Relevant post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
-
A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance

Clinical leadership experience is desirable but not essential.
