With operations across Australia, we are now looking for an Operations Officer within our Rivtow Marine Port Hedland team.

This role will see you:
- Prepare agenda, minutes and attend scheduled meetings as required
- Develop and prepare operational reports including operational statistics for the Operational Superintendent
- Communication with Client Marine operations team, vessel crews and other port user stakeholders for day-to-day operations. There may be an “on call” requirement
- Work with the client Rivtow Fleet and the Shoreside Team to facilitate safe, reliable daily operation of vessels and associated infrastructure (tugs, barge, crew transfer vessels)
- Support the Operations Superintendent and Operations Supervisor in the planning and implementation, of the crew training programs, as per training strategy
- Log all incidents, injuries, near misses and assist in conducting investigations, as required
- Attend vessel inspections, as required
You will need:
- Experience in the Marine industry, towage, and port operations, whilst not essential, will set you apart
- Demonstrated flexibility and problem solving ability
- Proven ability to deliver results within agreed time frames
- Hold an MSIC or be able to obtain an MSIC
- Strong computer capability and excellent numeric skills
- Must be an exceptional team player.
