About the Role
A unique opportunity to provide administrative support to CAV’s Renting Taskforce. The Taskforce Officer supports the Taskforce Lead and team by assisting with the coordination and delivery of compliance activities aligned with CAV’s regulatory priorities.
This role provides administrative support for the planning and preparation of the Taskforce. The Taskforce Officer is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support across the organisation, maintaining efficient systems and processes, and contributing to a positive and productive workplace environment. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting staff and stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- rovide day-to-day administrative support to the Taskforce Lead and team, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and preparing agendas and minutes.

Coordinate logistics for Taskforce activities, including meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.

Maintain accurate records and filing systems, ensuring documentation is stored and managed in line with organisational requirements.

Assist in the preparation of routine reports, briefings, and other documentation to support Taskforce activities.
We are seeking applicants who have demonstrated experience from the following criteria:

Business systems: Demonstrated experience in an administrative or office support role, such as coordination of daily activities, process improvement, information systems and records management, and other branch activities.

Operational support: Provide operational support to the taskforce including supporting compliance and enforcement operations, handling confidential HR and financial records, arranging meetings and workshops, preparing general correspondence on a range of issues.

Team coordination: Experience in maintaining a professional office environment by supporting team members, managing workflows, and supporting timely delivery of team outputs.

Time management and prioritisation: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Communication and analysis: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to assist in research and analysis activities, and prepare discussion papers, briefs, reports and presentations as required.

Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
