With a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality pumping, water treatment and industrial solutions across Queensland, our client is a recognised market leader servicing the Industrial, Agricultural, Mining and Water sectors.
Due to continued growth and a focus on strengthening leadership capability, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team while driving revenue growth, customer engagement and commercial performance.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day performance of the sales function while developing and executing strategies to support continued business growth.
This role combines leadership, coaching, commercial management and customer engagement, making it ideal for a proven sales leader who enjoys building teams, developing people and driving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Industrial, Agricultural and Water Treatment sales professionals
- Develop and implement sales strategies, budgets and growth initiatives
- Drive accountability, performance and a strong customer-focused culture
- Analyse market trends, customer activity and sales performance to identify growth opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders
- Oversee CRM utilisation, pipeline management and forecasting activities
- Work collaboratively with operations and support teams to ensure customer commitments are delivered successfully
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies
- Coordinate supplier-led product training and ongoing team development initiatives
- Champion workplace safety, compliance and best-practice business processes
About You
You will be an experienced sales leader with a strong background in industrial, technical or engineered product environments.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Proven success leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Experience within Industrial, Water, Pumping, Irrigation, Mining, Engineering or related sectors
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts and growth strategies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive leadership style focused on accountability, coaching and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Current Driver's Licence
