The Opportunity
The Warehouse Officer provides stores/warehouse, maintenance and procurement support role, for the Construction Trades and Defence and Agriculture programs and is focused on delivering professional support of business objectives with a high degree of customer focus. The Warehouse Officer works under limited supervision of their line manager the Materials Handling Manager (Tonsley) and interacts with other team members, suppliers, educational staff, students, industry representatives, other Agencies and members of the general public.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in providing high quality stores/warehouse / procurement / maintenance role with a customer centric service in a stores/warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of correct and time dependent goods and materials by maintaining stock levels and following reordering procedures and conducting cycle counts and stocktakes.
- Proven ability to contribute to effective stores/warehouse operations, including abiding to all WHS environment requirements e.g. cleanliness and organization of stores/warehouse.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
