The role
We are looking for an experienced forklift operator who has experience in general freight and experience loading of linehaul units will be a big advantage.
Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operating experience is required for this position.
Our Brisbane depot based at Rocklea requires a LF Licensed Forklift Operator who is passionate and enthusiastic with a can/will-do attitude to help support significant growth and service a diverse customer base. Hours are Monday - Friday 12pm - 8pm with Saturday and overtime work available.
Duties
Duties will include:
- Accurate scanning and recording of freight,
- Ensuring all goods received are stored in the appropriate area,
- Loading/Unloading of Local & Linehaul trucks,
- Participate in load planning, configuration and Linehaul loading to ensure mass and dimension compliance along with maximum payload utilisation
- Operate equipment and handle freight safely and compliantly at all times
- Work full time Monday to Friday with weekend work available
- Efficiently unload general freight from body trucks & trailers and ensure placed in the correct zone to ensure no misdirects.
- Strapping and securing freight trailers
About you
- Holder of current LF License
- Experience in loading and handling general freight
- Experience in a Linehaul Cross-docking environment
- Be reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
- Have a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to be flexible in adapting to change in fast paced work environment.

Pay: $38.40 per hour
