Join the Paediatric Oncology and Haematology Service at John Hunter Children’s Hospital, a specialised tertiary referral paediatric hospital providing oncology care to children and young people across Northern NSW. About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Data Manager / Clinical Research Officer to provide general research support to the Paediatric Oncology Unit.
In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day delivery of research projects, supporting the achievement of key objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing clinical research data and biological specimens.

Coordinating, implementing, reporting and evaluating clinical research activities.

Supporting the day-to-day administration and delivery of research projects.

Maintaining accurate and reliable research databases and records.
-
Working with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of research activities.

Contributing to the ongoing improvement of research processes and outcomes.

About you:
You will be a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing paediatric oncology environment.
You will bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Data Management, Health Information Management, Science or a related discipline.

Initiative, self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously.

High-level organisational and time management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

High-level computer literacy and the ability to work confidently across a range of databases and IT systems.
Experience in clinical research, data management or a health-related environment will be highly regarded.
