Disability Support Worker – Supported Independent Living (SIL) – Miranda

Quality Health Care (QHC) is seeking a dedicated and resilient Disability Support Worker to join our team at a Supported Independent Living home in Miranda, supporting five residents living with Huntington’s Disease and the effects of stroke. They live with complex physical and cognitive challenges, and we are looking for someone who can provide consistent, person-centred support in both their home and the community.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in high-needs environments who is passionate about helping people live life with dignity, connection, and purpose.
Your Role:
· Personal Care, Continence Support and Feeding Assistance
· Manual Handling
· Supporting community access and participation in meaningful activities
· Medical and allied health appointment support
· Encourage independence and quality of life within a safe environment
· Implement positive behaviour support strategies
What We're Looking For:
· Cert IV in Disability or equivalent experience
· Experience working with high physical support needs, challenging behaviours or neurological conditions
· Manual Handling and Personal Care experience
· Excellent documentation and communication skills
· Availability for all shift types
· Unrestricted Drivers License
· NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and valid First Aid & CPR Certificate

Pay: $34.00 – $45.00 per hour
