Family Vets Western Sydney is looking for a friendly, organised and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for pets and their families while supporting the smooth operation of our busy veterinary hospital.

About the Role
This role combines customer service, administration and patient coordination responsibilities. You will work closely with our veterinarians and nursing team to ensure every client and patient receives the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and their pets in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries
- Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment book
- Processing payments and managing client accounts
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Assisting with admissions, discharges and medication collections
- Supporting the veterinary and nursing teams with administrative tasks
- Managing a busy reception area while maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere
What We're Looking For
- Previous reception, customer service or veterinary experience required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- A positive attitude and genuine compassion for people and animals
- Strong attention to detail and computer literacy
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
