Role Type: 12-month full time contract
Salary: $62,546 – $65,075 p.a plus superannuation
The opportunity:
The Clinical Trial Assistant will provide research and administrative support to the Antimicrobials Group at MCRI, working closely with senior research staff to support the delivery of clinical research projects. The role will contribute to study coordination, data management, ethics and governance activities, and communication with internal and external collaborators. This is an opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and an interest in clinical research to contribute to impactful research outcomes.
What you’ll do
Provide administrative support across clinical research activities, including ethics and governance submissions, study documentation and project coordination
Support participant recruitment, research visits, study monitoring and data verification activities
Maintain accurate study databases, records and research documentation
Coordinate communication and liaison with research teams, collaborators and stakeholders
Assist with the coordination of research projects, meetings and operational activities
What you’ll bring
Qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Science, Health or related discipline)
Experience providing administrative support in the research sector, preferably in a multi-institutional environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with a range of stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
High level of proficiency in standard application software, including Microsoft Office
