In Home Care Educator – Rous (NSW)
We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate In Home Care Educator to support a family located in Rous, NSW. This is a rewarding In Home Care (IHC) position working directly within the child’s home environment, providing individualised, consistent, and high-quality care and early childhood education support.
About the Role
You will be supporting a 3.5-year-old child diagnosed with ASD Level 2 in a structured, nurturing, and play-based learning environment within the family home. This role requires an educator who is confident in supporting children with additional needs, can follow routines, and can build strong, respectful relationships with both the child and family.
Hours of Work
- Tuesday to Friday
- 7:30am – 3.30pm (varied finish times)
- $40.00 per hour (contractor role)
Work Environment
- Located in the family home (Rous, NSW)
- Family has 2 friendly dogs in the home
- One-on-one care and education delivery
Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:
- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)
- Current First Aid & CPR (childcare setting)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Child Safety Training (Geccko)
- National Police Check (issued within last 6 months)
- Child Protection Certificate (refresher every 2 years)
- Medical clearance confirming fitness for work
- Public Liability Insurance (required once placed)
- ABN (self-employed contractor arrangement)
- Photo ID
- Must be 18 years or older
