Experienced Machine Operator | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Multiple Shifts

Pay Rate: $33.00–$42.00 per hour

About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Eastern Creek, Western Sydney.
These positions are suited to candidates who have previous experience operating production, processing or packaging machinery within pharmaceutical, food, beverage, FMCG, cosmetics, packaging or other regulated manufacturing environments.
This is a hands-on production role where you will be responsible for operating machinery, completing basic adjustments and changeovers, monitoring product quality and ensuring production runs safely and efficiently.
For reliable and experienced operators, there is strong potential for consistent ongoing work and regular rostered shifts.
Available Shifts
- Day Shift: 7:00am–3:30pm
- Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm–12:00am
- Night Shift: 12:00am–7:00am
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor production and packaging machinery
- Complete machine start-up and shutdown procedures
- Perform basic machine adjustments and product changeovers
- Monitor machinery to ensure production targets and quality standards are maintained
- Identify and report machine faults, stoppages and production issues
- Conduct routine quality checks throughout the production process
- Pack, label and prepare finished pharmaceutical products
- Complete production records, batch documentation and associated paperwork
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and documented work instructions
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping and workplace safety
- Work in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements
- Assist with cleaning and preparation of machinery between production runs
- Work closely with production, quality and warehouse teams
What We Are Looking For
To be considered, you should have:
- Previous experience operating production or packaging machinery
- Experience within pharmaceutical, food, beverage, FMCG, cosmetics, packaging or manufacturing
- Confidence operating automated or semi-automated production equipment
- Experience completing machine adjustments, changeovers or basic troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and written work instructions
- Good understanding of workplace safety and hygiene requirements
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon or night shifts
Previous experience working within a GMP, HACCP or similarly regulated manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
