The Opportunity
With exciting plans for growth, a new opportunity has become available to join our internal operations to support our teams across the Asia Pacific region. As the Senior Systems Engineer (Level 3), you will design, administer, optimise, and support the organisation's technology environment. You will act as the highest technical escalation point within the Internal IT team and will provide advanced engineering expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Networking, Server Infrastructure, Identity Management, End User Computing, and Automation. You will be accountable for maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable IT services while mentoring team members, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading technical projects that support business growth and operational excellence.
What Will Be Involved
Technical Leadership
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting across infrastructure, security, networking, cloud, and end-user platforms.
- Lead root cause analysis and permanent resolution of recurring issues while developing technical standards, policies, and operating procedures.
- Act as the final technical escalation point for complex internal IT issues.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 technical staff.
Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Manage virtualisation platforms, Windows Server and associated services, maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
- Maintain endpoint management platforms, including Intune and Autopilot, while managing enterprise storage and collaboration platforms.
Cyber Security
- Support ISO 27001 and security compliance initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents while maintaining security controls and hardening standards.
- Manage vulnerability remediation activities while participating in security audits and risk assessments.
- Support governance activities relating to privileged access management and identity security.
Project Delivery
- Lead technical implementation projects from planning through to completion.
- Produce technical designs and implementation documentation.
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and technology refreshes.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and business integration activities while providing technical input into business improvement initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure all work is documented and aligned to ITIL principles while maintaining accurate configuration and asset records.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to service improvement plans.
- Participate in major incident management and post-incident reviews.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Escalate support issues with Microsoft and third-party vendors.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver outcomes.
- Provide technical recommendations and risk assessments to management.
What You Will Need
- Minimum 6 years' experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, or Cloud Operations.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure administration.
- Windows Server administration with Entra ID / Active Directory.
- Intune and Endpoint Management along with Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- PowerShell Scripting and Automation, along with Enterprise Networking fundamentals.
- Security technologies, including MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, and Microsoft Security Stack.
- Advanced troubleshooting capability with Systems architecture and design and a security-first mindset.
- Documentation and governance discipline.

- Desirable Skills
- Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Defender Suite.
- VMware or Hyper-V.

- Merger and acquisition integration experience along with ITIL framework knowledge.
