This part-time role is available Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 2:00pm.
The successful applicant will work closely with our GP and reception team to provide high-quality nursing care, assist with treatment room procedures, manage recalls and reminders, and support the smooth running of the clinic.
This position would suit a confident, organised and compassionate nurse who enjoys working in a general practice environment and providing excellent patient care.Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Providing nursing support to the doctor and clinical team
- Performing iron infusions
- Administering childhood immunisations and general immunisations
- Blood taking and specimen collection
- Wound care and dressings
- ECGs and basic clinical observations
- Health assessments and care plans where required
- Assisting with recalls, reminders and follow-up systems
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Managing vaccine stock, cold chain and treatment room supplies
- Supporting patients in a professional, caring and respectful manner

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Previous experience working in general practice or a medical clinic
- Minimum 1-2 years of general practice or medical clinic experience
- Experience with iron infusions
- Minimum 6 months of experience performing iron infusions
- Experience with childhood immunisations
- Minimum 6 months of experience with childhood immunisation programmes
- Experience with general immunisations
- Confident blood taking skills
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of infection control and cold chain management
Experience using general practice software would be highly regarde
Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
