An excellent opportunity is available for a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Ophthalmology to join the team at Nepean Hospital. Step into a role where your expertise supports patients in preserving and improving their vision and quality of life. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Ophthalmology service at NBMLHD, you will be a knowledgeable and reassuring presence, ensuring patients receive coordinated, compassionate care throughout their outpatient journey.
In this pivotal position, you will provide clinical nursing leadership in Ophthalmic Nursing within the outpatient department at Nepean Hospital, to achieve optimal outcomes for patients with ophthalmic conditions. You will coordinate and deliver nursing care to patients attending clinic, working collaboratively with the medical team, Nurse Unit Managers (NUMs), and outpatient staffs. Through your advanced clinical skills and commitment to person-centred care, you will play a key role in shaping a service that is both clinically exceptional and responsive to the individual needs of every patient.
