· Perform cleaning duties in resident rooms, bacony’s, bathrooms, common areas, and administrative offices to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
· Use appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.
· Empty bins, monitor and restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials in designated areas to support efficient operations
· Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly for resolution
· Perform “deep cleans” as required
- Follow all WHS policies and procedures.
- Participate in WHS training and maintain safe work practices.
· Report any hazards, incidents, or injuries promptly to management.
This is a casual position and is scheduled to work every Monday. From time to time, you may also be asked to assist in the kitchen as required on different days other than Mondays.
Training will be provided for both the cleaning duties and kitchen hand support responsibilities to ensure you are comfortable performing the role.
Qualifications:
· Current National Police Check & Flu Vaccine certificate required
Experience:
· Prior experience in Aged care is desirable but essential
· A commitment to providing a caring and empathetic service to the residents
Pay: $26.44 – $31.00 per hour
