About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to join the Caboolture Adult Mental Health Team (CAMHT) and play a key role in supporting vital mental health services for the community. This is your opportunity to provide essential administrative support, be the first point of contact for consumers and cares, and help ensure the smooth operation of our team.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide effective administrative support and service that contributes to the operations of the immediate work team and organisation. General administration duties including, but not limited to, word processing, data entry, report preparation, correspondence management and filing.
Provide first point of call, reception and telephone response service for consumers, carers/family members and other persons contacting CAMHT and ensure re-direction to the appropriate area for care by health professionals, using tact, diplomacy and discretion.
Maintain competence in the use of information systems used within the Mental Health Service (and additional systems as required). Major systems currently used include the Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), the Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application (CIMHA), Enterprise Scheduling Management (ESM) and Integrated electronic medical record (ieMR).
