We are a growing electrical contracting business seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electrical Administration & Accounts Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the building and construction industry who is confident handling invoicing, quotations, and client communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and send invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
- Manage and respond to emails and phone enquiries professionally
- Create and manage quotations for electrical works
- Maintain accurate job and customer records
- Use Xero for invoicing, payments, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Liaise with builders, contractors, suppliers, and clients
- Assist with scheduling, job tracking, and general office administration
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards
Requirements
- Experience in the electrical, building, or construction industry
- Strong understanding of quotations, invoicing, and job costing
- Proficiency in Xero (essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Confident using computers and office software
