We are looking for a qualified and experienced Software Engineer to join Sazae on a full-time basis. Required Experience & Skills
1. Diploma or higher qualification in Software Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, software development or related technology roles, with extensive experience in designing, developing and maintaining software applications and systems. Candidates with experience in international software projects will be highly regarded.
3. Proven experience in analysing software requirements, developing technical solutions, writing and maintaining program code, and delivering software applications in accordance with technical specifications.
4. Strong experience in software testing, debugging, system integration, troubleshooting and software lifecycle support.
5. Knowledge of secure software development practices, including authentication, access control, data protection and risk mitigation.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, technical teams and project stakeholders.
In the Role you will be
1. Analyse, evaluate and interpret software system requirements and technical specifications in collaboration with clients, technical teams and project stakeholders to support software design and development activities.
2. Design, develop, modify, implement and maintain enterprise software applications, SaaS solutions and customised software systems in accordance with business requirements and technical standards.
3. Write, optimise and maintain high-quality program code following software engineering standards, secure coding practices and technical design specifications to ensure system reliability, maintainability and scalability.
4. Conduct software testing, debugging, fault diagnosis and issue resolution to identify and correct application errors, system defects and performance issues, ensuring software meets quality requirements.
5. Review existing software systems and technical solutions to identify system limitations, technical deficiencies and optimisation opportunities, and recommend appropriate improvements.
6. Prepare, update and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, software specifications, deployment procedures and user support materials.
7. Support software deployment, system upgrades, automated testing and continuous delivery processes to ensure reliable implementation and ongoing improvement of software applications.
8. Implement software security controls, including authentication, access management, encryption and data protection mechanisms, and identify and mitigate risks affecting software performance and security throughout the software lifecycle.
9. Collect and analyse system performance metrics, operational data and user feedback to enhance software functionality, reliability and development processes.
10. Provide technical support throughout the software lifecycle, including system implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance and post-deployment support.
11. Develop and maintain software tools, frameworks and technical solutions to support application management, system integration, development efficiency and software security.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
