Cross River Rail Delivery Authority (CRRDA)…Your chance to work with the best!
The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is building a new 10.2km rail line that includes 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD; with four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.
Once complete, it will provide trains with a much-needed alternative rail path through the core of the current SEQ Rail network, unlocking a bottleneck and allowing more trains to run more often across the whole of South East Queensland.
The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is also delivering multiple supporting projects and activities in conjunction with the Department of Transport and Main Roads. These include accessibility rebuilds for eight surface stations, construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast; upgrades for stabling yards; track works and surface rail enhancements; and the introduction of a new ETCS digital signalling system.
About the Role
Join the Governance and Reporting team and help ensure one of Australia's largest infrastructure programs is supported by accurate, consistent and decision ready project performance reporting.
Working closely with Project Directors and multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will review and challenge project information across schedule, cost, risk and delivery to ensure reporting accurately reflects the current project position and approved baselines. Through independent performance analysis and governance support, you'll identify emerging trends, risks and interdependencies, helping strengthen reporting quality and support informed decision making.
You'll also prepare high quality governance documentation and reporting for executive forums, maintain governance records and contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, processes and tools across the program.
Whether you've built your career in PMO, governance or project reporting, or are looking to take the next step beyond project coordination, this role offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes while working alongside experienced Project Directors. This opportunity is offered as a fixed term contract until September 2028 with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Review, challenge and assure project performance information across schedule, cost, risk, issues and delivery to ensure accurate, aligned and decision ready reporting.
-
Analyse project performance trends, emerging risks, issues and interdependencies, clearly communicating impacts and recommended actions.
-
Partner with Project Directors and delivery teams to improve the quality, consistency and effectiveness of project performance reporting.
-
Consolidate and present project performance information aligned with approved baselines, agreed metrics and reporting frameworks.
-
Ensure reporting accurately reflects approved schedules, budgets, risk positions, forecasts and approved changes.
-
Maintain quality assurance across governance reporting, confirming accuracy, completeness and consistency before executive and governance forums.
-
Prepare high quality governance documentation including agendas, meeting papers, minutes, action registers and decision records.
-
Coordinate governance forums and provide secretariat support in accordance with established governance frameworks and delegations.
-
Maintain governance records, approvals and decision logs to support strong governance and accountability.
-
Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance processes, reporting frameworks, templates and tools across the broader program.
About You:
-
Experience in project governance, PMO, performance reporting or a similar role within a complex infrastructure or capital delivery environment.
-
Demonstrated ability to review, analyse and challenge project performance information across schedule, cost, risk and delivery.
-
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across multidisciplinary project teams.
-
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate complex project information into clear, concise reporting for executive audiences.
