Position Purpose:
To provide high-quality, safe, evidence-based primary healthcare to patients while complying with RACGP Standards, Medicare requirements, AHPRA regulations, privacy legislation, infection prevention protocols, and the policies of the practice.
The General Practitioner contributes to continuous quality improvement, patient safety, multidisciplinary teamwork, and ethical medical practice.
Provide comprehensive primary healthcare including:
- Acute illness management
- Chronic disease management
- Preventative health
- Health assessments
- Care Plans
- Mental health care
- Women's health
- Men's health
- Children's health
- Elderly care
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
- Skin cancer checks
- Minor procedures (where credentialed)
- Immunisations
- Travel medicine
- Palliative care (where applicable)
Qualifications:
- AHPRA General registration
- ACRRM, FSP or PEP Specialist enrolled
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- CPR certification
- Mandatory training
- Credentialing requirements
Selection Criteria Essential:
- Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), or eligibility under an approved training/supervision pathway
- Must be at least LEVEL 2 supervision
- Willingness to work at WILTON NSW 2571
Pay: $124.14 – $211.32 per hour
Work Location: In person
