We are currently seeking a driven and attention-to-detail focused individual to join our professional Permits Team based at our Kialla, Shepparton Office.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare documentation and liaise with relevant Councils to arrange the prompt lodgement of plans and necessary building approvals to enable the construction process to commence in a timely manner

Assisting with land compliance assessments

Checking of the site start list and ensure actions are taken when required

Make sure all administration procedures and policies are adhered to

Generating reports based on findings and making all necessary recommendations

Liaising with external service providers and internal departments; and

Preparation of permit documentation for the building process.

The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant experience in a Permits Officer position within a time critical working environment
-
Demonstrated knowledge of the Building Regulations and Rescode
-
Working knowledge of the building and construction process
-
Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities
-
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
-
Proven ability to work in a positive and professional manner in a goal orientated environment

Intermediate Microsoft WORD EXCEL and OUTLOOK computer skills; and
-
Experience in using database systems is an added advantage.
