The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama, and we’re building something big.
2026 is set to be a huge year. Our store network is expanding, our customer experience is evolving, and we’re growing towards 700 stores. Behind the scenes, our Operations and Planning teams are making it happen, and this is your chance to be part of it.
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst – Forecasting & Labour Planning to join our growing team. This is a highly analytical, business-critical role where you’ll own forecasting across sales, traffic, and labour, and turn data into clear, actionable insights that drive performance across our store network.
If you love retail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy using data to influence real-world outcomes, this is the opportunity for you.
- Owning end-to-end forecasting for sales, traffic, transactions, and labour hours at both store and business level
- Analysing performance vs forecast, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Continuously improving forecast accuracy using data, insights, and predictive modelling approaches
- Providing clear recommendations to optimise labour spend, productivity, and operational performance
- Supporting labour planning and workforce allocation decisions across the store network
- Conducting scenario analysis to support planning and decision-making
- Partnering with Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to align forecasts with business needs
- Developing and automating reporting to improve efficiency and visibility
- Driving improvements in tools, processes, and forecasting methodologies
- 3–7 years’ experience in FP&A, analytics, or workforce planning
- Strong experience in sales and labour forecasting within a multi-site or retail environment
- Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to SQL, Python, or similar tools highly regarded
- Experience with predictive modelling or data science techniques
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into practical insights
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Experience working with workforce management systems (UKG preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to influence decisions
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- A fast‑paced, purpose‑driven team shaping the future of value retail
- Career growth opportunities across a national and expanding retailer
- Exposure to large-scale forecasting, workforce planning, and operational decision-making
- Employee benefits including paid parental leave and EAP support
- The opportunity to make a real impact across stores nationwide
This is more than a forecasting role.
It’s your opportunity to influence how we plan, optimise one of our largest cost drivers, and help stores succeed through better data and smarter decisions every day.
