Due to continued business growth and increasing project demand, we are seeking experienced and qualified Carpenters to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis in Perth, Western Australia.
About the Position
The successful applicant will perform carpentry work across residential, commercial, civil, infrastructure, and construction projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regional Western Australia, depending on project requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Construct, install, maintain, and repair timber structures and frameworks.
- Install wall framing, roof framing, flooring systems, and other structural components.
- Install doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves, and other finishing carpentry.
- Build decking, pergolas, timber cladding, and other outdoor structures.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other building materials.
- Safely and efficiently operate hand tools and power tools.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian building standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other tradespeople and site supervisors.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent overseas qualification.
- At least one year of full-time relevant work experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
- The ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work safely with minimal supervision.
