We're a solar business based in Castle Hill, Sydney, looking for a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to help keep our finances running smoothly. This is a flexible, part-time role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy and takes pride in accurate, well-organised books.
The Role
Working from our Castle Hill office 2 full days a week, you'll take ownership of our day-to-day bookkeeping and make sure our accounts are fully reconciled and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Full bank and account reconciliation
- General day-to-day bookkeeping
- Invoice management — issuing, tracking, and following up on customer and supplier invoices
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Keeping financial records accurate and current
- Liaising with our external accountant as needed
About You
- Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally with a small business or trade-based company
- Confident using accounting software (Xero and QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Certificate/Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting is a plus, not essential
