As the Clinical Nurse Manager – Immunisation Programs, you will oversee the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of workplace and school-based vaccination programs. This is a dynamic leadership role combining clinical expertise, operational oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
Ideally, the successful candidate will work out of either our Shailer Park branch, however Ozcare would be open to the right candidate working out of either our Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Ipswich branch
About the Role
You will lead immunisation programs across multiple locations, ensuring safe, consistent and high-quality service delivery. This role is fast-paced and rewarding, with peak periods aligned to school-based programs and seasonal campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of statewide immunisation programs
- Provide clinical oversight to ensure safe and compliant vaccination practices
- Lead, develop and support a geographically dispersed clinical workforce
- Oversee program logistics including workforce planning, vaccine supply and scheduling
- Monitor program performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with schools, workplaces and health partners
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safety and regulatory requirements
About you
You are an experienced clinical leader with a passion for public health and program delivery. You thrive in a leadership role and bring strong operational and stakeholder management experience.
You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Immunisation Program Nurse (IPN) qualification
- Strong knowledge of immunisation guidelines and vaccine safety
- Proven experience leading teams across multiple sites
- Strong program management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
