- Base Salary range between $117,514.92 - $123,588.63 p.a. (plus $12k pro rata cost of living allowance)

About the Position
The Coordinator Communities West is a key leadership role responsible for delivering community development, engagement and events across Onslow and Pannawonica.
Leading a small, dedicated team, you will ensure high-quality, inclusive and sustainable programs that reflect community needs and align with the Shire’s strategic priorities.
This position is responsible for:
- Leading and overseeing community development programs and events across Onslow and Pannawonica region.
- Providing leadership, supervision, coaching and performance development for Community Development Officers.
- Planning, coordinating and evaluating community programs, initiatives and events.
- Managing budgets, monitoring performance and ensuring value for money outcomes.
- Building strong partnerships with community groups, government agencies and industry stakeholders.
- Supporting community capacity building and social outcomes through inclusive initiatives.
- Providing strategic advice, reporting and insights on community trends and opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, legislation, and Shire policies.
Occasional travel to other Shire towns.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in community development and engagement.
- Strong leadership experience, including managing and developing staff.
- Proven ability to design, deliver and evaluate programs and events.
- Experience managing budgets and delivering outcomes within resource constraints.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills.
Excellent communication, report writing and organisational skills.
