About the Role
Applicants should have a minimum of 12 months healthcare experience in their respective position level. Successful applicants may have opportunities to work across a variety of healthcare settings including:
- Residential Aged Care Facilities
- Community Care Services
- Disability Support Services
- Hospital and Acute Care Settings (where applicable)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred care in accordance with professional standards and facility requirements.
- Support clients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
- Observe, document and report changes in client condition.
- Maintain infection prevention and workplace health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Represent Six Care Nursing Agency professionally at all times.
For RN / EN Applicants:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current National Police Check
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date Immunisation Record
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
For AIN / PCA Applicants:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent
- Current National Police Check
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date Immunisation Record
- Strong interpersonal and client care skills
