Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within the Haemodialysis Service, you'll provide expert clinical leadership in a highly specialised environment caring for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, kidney transplantation and complex haemodialysis needs. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you'll help deliver exceptional patient outcomes while mentoring staff and driving excellence in renal nursing.
You will,
Deliver advanced, person-centred haemodialysis care across acute, chronic and transplant services, including specialised plasma exchange and apheresis procedures.
Lead and coordinate clinical care, providing expert guidance, mentoring and support to nursing staff.
Champion quality improvement, patient safety and evidence-based practice through clinical leadership, education and service development.
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team that supports patients through one of the state's leading renal services.
About you:
We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for specialist renal nursing, strong clinical judgement and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
You will have,
Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in haemodialysis, with the ability to manage complex patient presentations and make confident clinical decisions.
Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring, coaching and supporting multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across healthcare teams.
Commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
