About your role
As a Finance Officer, you will provide financial and management accounting support that contributes to effective planning, performance monitoring and financial compliance across Community & Oral Health Services.
In this role, you will:
Prepare and review financial transactions and general ledger accounts
Perform reconciliations, journal entries and payroll adjustments
Maintain asset registers and support procurement processes
Assist with monthly management reporting and budget monitoring
Analyse financial, activity and statistical data against budgets
Support annual financial statements and end-of-year activities
Support Financial Management Assurance Testing activities
About you
You are an organised and customer-focused finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering quality outcomes.
You will demonstrate:
Experience working with financial systems and accounting processes
Knowledge of S/4HANA or the ability to quickly acquire system expertise
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to prioritise work and manage competing deadlines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
Ability to analyse financial and operational information
Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Business will be highly regarded
