SA Sweepers & Scrubbers is seeking a reliable and mechanically minded technician to join our Adelaide team servicing industrial floor cleaning equipment.

Service & Repair Technician — Industrial Sweepers & Scrubbers
Location: Adelaide, South Australia
Hours: Casual with opportunity for long-term employment
About the Role
You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing faults, and repairing commercial sweeping and scrubbing machines used in warehouses, car parks, and industrial facilities across Adelaide.
This role includes driving a company service vehicle from our warehouse to customer sites to perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance.
Training will be provided on specific equipment such as Nilfisk, Viper, and other industrial cleaning machines, however applicants must already have basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair industrial floor sweepers and scrubbers
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and battery system faults
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing
- Drive company service vehicle from warehouse to customer sites
- Attend breakdowns and scheduled service jobs across Adelaide
- Communicate professionally with customers during service visits
- Complete basic service reports and job documentation
Essential Requirements
- Basic understanding of electric motors, batteries, pumps, and mechanical systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Full driver’s licence (required)
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment
- Mechanical, electrical, or trade background
- Experience with plant equipment or machinery
- Knowledge of LPG or Electric. Engines
