With long‑term contracts, a strong pipeline of new projects and continued expansion across Western Australia, we are strengthening our leadership team with the appointment of a Finance Manager. This role is central to ensuring ADENCO maintains strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and high‑quality commercial insight as we scale. You will work closely with the CFO, Project Managers and Executive Team to deliver robust financial management, three‑way forecasting, and analytics that support operational decision‑making and long‑term planning.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager who can lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis across a multi‑entity contracting environment. You will oversee month‑end processes, maintain financial controls, and provide clear, decision‑ready insight to senior leadership.
This role suits a hands‑on finance leader who thrives in a fast‑paced contracting environment and can build structure, improve processes and partner effectively with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end reporting, management accounts, cash flow management and statutory compliance
- Own the development and maintenance of three‑way financial models, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support executive and project‑level decision‑making
- Provide commercial analysis on project performance, pricing, cost drivers, margin improvement and risk
- Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks and reporting accuracy across the business
- Support tender reviews, investment cases and scenario modelling for new and existing projects
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting and financial discipline
- Oversee tax compliance, audit preparation and external reporting requirements
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and financial workflows
Skills and Experience
- CA or CPA qualified with strong technical accounting capability
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Commercial Manager or Senior Finance role within construction, engineering, mining services or infrastructure
- Demonstrated capability in three‑way forecasting, financial modelling and advanced analytics
- Strong understanding of project‑based financials, cost control and multi‑entity reporting
- Ability to translate financial complexity into clear, actionable insight for operational teams
- High attention to detail with strong governance, controls and compliance discipline
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working across integrated financial systems
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and operate in a growing, fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders
