Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant with hands-on expertise in
SAP Ariba solutions and integration with
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to support a digital transformation initiative for a leading education services provider in Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of source-to-pay processes, SAP Ariba implementation experience, and a sound understanding of public cloud delivery methodologies.
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Salary: AUD 150,742 – 171,215 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:-
Configure and implement SAP Ariba solutions across Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, and Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP).

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP Ariba solutions.
-
Design and support integration between SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network, and S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition using standard integration capabilities.
-
Ensure alignment with SAP Best Practices, clean-core principles, procurement controls, and education-sector requirements.
-
Support master data, testing, training, cutover, and hypercare activities across the source-to-pay lifecycle.
-
Coordinate with procurement, finance, integration, security, and data migration teams to resolve cross-functional dependencies.

Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scripts, process flows, and user guidance.
Essential:-
SAP Certification in SAP Ariba Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supplier Management.

Experience with SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network, and public-cloud integration scenarios.

Experience in education or public sector programs and knowledge of procurement compliance, data privacy, and audit requirements.

Preferred:-
Minimum 10+ years of SAP procurement experience, including strong SAP Ariba implementation expertise and at least 1 full-cycle integration with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Buying and Invoicing, SLP, and SAP Business Network.

Experience with Ariba and S/4HANA integration, supplier and procurement master data, transactional flows, and end-to-end testing.

Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, fit-to-standard delivery, and SAP Fiori.

Excellent communication, documentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work independently in an onsite, client-facing role and coordinate effectively with offshore teams.
