Workplace Access & Safety is an established, fast-growing company providing inspection and advisory services in Height Safety & Confined Spaces to a wide variety of industries including numerous local and state government agencies.
Following significant and sustained business growth we are looking for an experienced Scheduling Specialist to support the team and lead our scheduling function nationwide. This is a new position within a business where you will have the opportunity to influence daily operations, improve systems and help drive exceptional customer service while supporting strategic growth.
About the role
This role is suitable for someone who can lead a skilled team using their excellent time management and resource optimisation skills.
Working closely with Inspectors, Operations Manager, GMs and the Management Team you will be responsible for co-ordinating inspectors' appointments across Australia, ensuring that work is allocated in a timely and efficient manner, and that schedules are optimised to meet customer and business service commitments.
Key responsibilities include:-

co-ordinate and manage inspectors' schedules across the country

understand the requirement of each customer and organise a suitable inspector, manage scheduling, cancellation and urgent requests accordingly

identify conflicts or inefficiencies in the schedules and implement practical solutions

maintain accurate appointment, availability and workload information across systems

support reporting, scheduling and revenue analysis, and operational co-ordination activities

collaborate closely with Inspectors, Operations Manager and the Administration Team to achieve strategic goals

plan and organise travel arrangements for inspectors for inter-city trips

undertake additional duties as required to support operational outcomes

Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will:-

have previous experience in efficient scheduling, workplace planning or operational co-ordination

have experience in scheduling of personnel and resources in a fast-paced environment

be able to manage multiple priorities and meet customer deadlines

have experience working on a robust scheduling platform and other industry systems

be degree qualified in a relevent discipline (efg engineering, construction, architecture or similiar) with exposure to commercial construction

have a strong analytical mindset and great attention to detail

be tough, resilient and decisive
