We are a growing retail business committed to delivering outstanding customer service, operational excellence, and a positive team culture. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead our store operations in Karratha, Western Australia.
About the Role
As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the store, ensuring high customer service standards, achieving sales and operational targets, and leading a successful team.
This is a full-time position based on 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily retail store operations to ensure efficient business performance.
- Lead, supervise, coach, and support team members to achieve operational and customer service standards.
- Develop staff rosters and manage labour allocation in line with business requirements.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve store targets and profitability.
- Manage inventory including ordering, stock control, stock rotation, and reduction of stock loss.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain store presentation, merchandising standards, cleanliness, and overall customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, applicants must have:
- Diploma qualification in Retail Operations or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum one (1) year of full-time relevant work experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership and people management capability.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and achieve operational outcomes.
