About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to work within the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Unit at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, with a focus on Head & Neck reconstruction. You will deliver clinical care, support surgical services, participate in teaching and research, and contribute to audit and quality improvement activities within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Under supervision, attend to the overall management of patients and operating theatre lists.
Maintain the process of clinical audit.
Participate in Plastics Outpatient clinics.
Treat inpatients and organise operating lists for maximal efficiency.
Within the scope of the position, undertake and supervise emergency surgery as required.
