Door Host / Front of House Host | The Rocks
We are seeking a warm, polished, and energetic Door Host to join our team in the heart of The Rocks, Sydney. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
What You'll Do
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a professional, engaging attitude
- Manage guest seating, reservation lists, and walk-in waitlists
- Coordinate smoothly with floor staff, section waiters, and managers
- Ensure the entrance area remains tidy, organized, and inviting
- Assist with guest inquiries, and phone bookings.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a host, reservations, or front-of-house hospitality role
- Certifications: Valid NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) competency card is mandatory
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Poise: Ability to stay calm, organized, and welcoming in a fast-paced environment
- Availability: Flexible availability across evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Pay: $26.44 – $54.59 per hour
