Academic Extension Teacher (Yrs4-9) - Logan Village Campus
We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to facilitate our Academic Extension Program across Upper Primary and High School. While initially focused on Years 4–9 in 2026, this role is intended to become an ongoing position within the campus, with scope for further expansion in future years.
The Academic Extension Teacher will take initiative in the ongoing development, refinement, and growth of the program, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen, innovate, and expand academic extension offerings in response to student needs.
In collaboration with Primary and Secondary curriculum leaders, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

Identifying and nurturing high-potential learners, fostering curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and resilience

Designing and facilitating learning experiences that extend and challenge students beyond standard curriculum expectations

Preparing and supporting student participation in internal and external academic competitions, including the Da Vinci Decathlon and Future Problem Solvers

Partnering with teaching staff to build a College-wide culture of academic excellence

Driving innovation within the program, continually refining and expanding opportunities in line with student needs and emerging best practice
While experience in Academic Extension is advantageous, this role would also suit experienced and highly capable classroom teachers with a background in Upper Primary or Secondary education.

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
