Production Coordinator
Security Plus is seeking an organised and detail-focused Production Coordinator to support our manufacturing and production operations.
This is a hands-on administration and coordination role responsible for order entry, production scheduling, reporting and dispatch support. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, factory managers, office staff and wholesale customers to help ensure jobs move through production accurately and efficiently.
About the role
In this role, you will maintain accurate information in the Insyte system, prepare production paperwork, support production schedules, follow up urgent jobs and help ensure clear communication between office and factory teams.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy manufacturing environment, has strong attention to detail and can manage competing priorities.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Entering wholesale orders and updating check measures in the Insyte system
- Allocating production and preparing factory paperwork within required timeframes
- Maintaining production schedules and assisting urgent jobs through the production process
- Providing job completion updates to wholesalers and office staff
- Working with factory managers to support timely job completion
- Collating reporting data for doors and roller shutters
- Checking that products are scanned correctly
- Coordinating interstate crate dispatches within required timeframes
- Participating in toolbox meetings as required
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and product quality
About you
You will be reliable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience in production administration, scheduling, dispatch coordination, data entry or a similar manufacturing support role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
- Ability to work with internal teams, factory staff and external customers
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- A proactive approach and willingness to support process improvements
- Experience using Insyte, or a similar system, would be highly regarded but is not essential
