What you'll do
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, the Facilities Manager is accountable for the delivery of all FM services for an assigned group of stores. This is a mid-level leadership role, managing a Proactive Services team comprising Team Leads and approx. 150 cleaning and trolley collection team members, as well as a cohort of internal technicians and contracted service providers.
Responsible for coaching, developing and leading a diverse team of operational team leaders, technicians, and third-party contractors.
End to end financial accountability for Repairs & Maintenance services across the designated group of stores.
Deliver agreed Facilities, Proactive Services & Maintenance Strategies to drive proactive, responsive and efficient services.
Accountable for a safe site for everyone, everyday by implementing and evaluating safe work practices, improving safety.
Undertake routine health checks to ensure compliance, safety and operational expectations are being met.
What you'll bring
A minimum of two years experience in a similar role, preferably with retail / supermarket experience
Able to navigate complex work environments and teams to deliver outcomes
Strong leadership experience managing large and diverse teams in a multi-site environment
Previous stakeholder management experience, and an ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
Experience or knowledge of essential services, refrigeration, air conditioning, or electrical systems (highly regarded).
