The Lighthouse offers a multiple dining experience perched on Cleveland Point overlooking Moreton Bay and the surrounding Islands. Our award-winning establishment prides itself on using local products to produce simple, tasty dishes.
An opportunity exists for a motivated and talented individual to join our team. As a kitchen and prep hand, you will be responsible for kitchen hand work as well assisting the section cooks where required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not a pre-requisite
- Dedicated and professional with a passion for the industry
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- Desire to learn and develop your skills
- Knowledge of and adherence to food hygiene and WH&S standards
Whilst experience in a commercial kitchen environment will be an advantage, it is your attitude and drive to improve and succeed which will make you stand out. A great entry level role into the kitchen scene!
