About the Role
Community Mental Health Services provide a range of services designed to help support the recovery and help consumer stay well in the community. The team provide specialist services for young people, children and families, adults, and older people. Community mental health services include a specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Team, bilingual mental health workers and Peer Support Workers. Our main sites are at Canterbury, Croydon, Camperdown, Marrickville, and Redfern Community Health Services. The role will be based at Canterbury Community Mental Health.
“Community Mental Health Team” (Core Team) is the mainstay of the community mental health system. Core Team provide a range of clinical services including intake, assessment, consultation, treatment and care coordination. Care coordination is the main component of this model of care and includes extended care coordination, targeted packages of care and short term care coordination.

Ideal Candidate
Recognised tertiary qualifications appropriate to profession. Full registration and eligibility for membership to professional association, as appropriate.
Understanding of and commitment to recovery oriented services and consumer involvement in service provision.
Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
