Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Describe your experience managing elective surgery waitlists and booking services within a hospital environment. How have you ensured compliance with NSW Health policies, patient classification requirements, and waiting time targets while maintaining a patient-centred approach?
- Provide an example of how you have led and managed an administrative team responsible for high-volume patient bookings or waitlist activities. Include how you approached recruitment, rostering, staff development, performance management, and the resolution of workplace issues to achieve service objectives.
- Describe a time when you identified an opportunity to improve a waitlist, booking, or patient administration process. How did you engage key stakeholders, implement the change, and measure the impact on patient access, efficiency, or service delivery?
Give an example of how you have used patient administration systems, waitlist management tools, or reporting systems to monitor performance, identify risks, and support decision-making. How did you communicate outcomes and recommendations to senior management, clinicians, and other stakeholders?
