Townsville Community Health Service provides multidiscplinary allied health services to adults and older persons. Services include assessment and referral, Social work and other discipline-specific interventions, and integrated care delivered in collaboration with Community Nursing and Older Persons services.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity:
Join Townsville Community Allied Health (TCAH) as a Senior Social Worker, delivering high-level clinical social work services to adults and older persons. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide assessment, therapeutic support and clinical advice while contributing to post-acute care, rehabilitation and hospital avoidance programs. You'll also provide clinical leadership and supervision to social work practitioners, assistants and students.
Requirements:
Tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Social Work and proof of membership (AASW)
Possession of a Class C driver's license.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
Probation period may apply.
