Children’s Ground operates in Central Australia and across the Top End, with support provided by a Melbourne-based Shared Services team.

We are looking for a reliable, proactive and detail‑oriented Cleaning & Stocktaking Assistant to help keep our Darwin office and shared spaces clean, organised and well‑maintained.
About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will support our team by maintaining hygiene, organisation and cleanliness across office, kitchen and communal areas. You’ll manage stock levels, contribute to a safe workplace, and ensure our environment supports the wellbeing of staff, families and community members. Some work occurs outside standard office hours.
This is a part time role – 12 hrs/week, across 4 days
Salary: $69,182.91 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours) plus 12% super.
Key Responsibilities

General office cleaning: floors, bathrooms, surfaces, workspaces and communal areas

Kitchen & food‑area deep cleaning, including fridges and benches

Waste management and putting out bins

Laundry tasks for cleaning items

Restocking essentials (paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc.)

Conducting regular stocktakes and reporting shortages

Supporting basic office upkeep

Reporting any Workplace Health & Safety concerns
Essential Key Selection Criteria

Well-organised with strong time management skills.

Good attention to detail and thorough in completing tasks.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and obtain an NT OCHRE Card (Working with Children Check).

Own transport to and from the office (must be capable of transporting necessary cleaning supplies if required).
