About the Role
We’re looking for experienced HR Drivers who don’t just want to drive — but want to be hands‑on event installers and part of a skilled onsite crew.
This role combines driving company trucks, delivering equipment, and installing / packing down event infrastructure onsite. You’ll work at premium venues, alongside an experienced team, helping deliver major business events across Queensland.

Where You’ll Be Working
You’ll support events at some of Queensland’s best venues, including:
- Convention & exhibition centres
- Major hotels and function venues
- Corporate venues, stadiums, and showgrounds
- Event sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and regional QLD
Every week is different.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving HR trucks for metro and regional event deliveries
- Loading and unloading equipment using a forklift
- Assisting with event installs and pack‑downs onsite
- Working as part of an Installer Crew to set up event infrastructure
- Supporting bump‑in / bump‑out schedules at venues
- Ensuring loads are secured, compliant, and transported safely
- Representing Moreton Hire professionally onsite
- Supporting warehouse and operations tasks as required
Safety & Chain of Responsibility
- Operate vehicles in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Follow safe loading, fatigue management, and onsite safety procedures
- Work safely around venues, crews, and the public
- Take responsibility for safe, professional driving and installation work
Safety is a core part of how we operate on the road and onsite.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- HR Truck Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (required)
- Willingness to be hands‑on with installs and physical work
- Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
- Ability to work early starts, long days, and varying schedules
Highly Regarded:
- Experience in events, exhibitions, or construction-style installs
- Venue or site-based working experience
- Good knowledge of Brisbane / Gold Coast areas

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $34.00 – $41.00 per hour
