Uniting Communities is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end payroll services for a large and diverse workforce, while providing outstanding customer service and payroll advice to employees and leaders across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Process fortnightly payroll activities accurately and on time.
Manage employee payroll transactions, allowances, entitlements, terminations and manual payments.
Respond to payroll enquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Support payroll reporting, data integrity and compliance activities.
Collaborate closely with Payroll and People & Culture teams to deliver efficient payroll outcomes.
Position Description

About You

You are a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate results. You will bring:

Previous payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
Strong understanding of payroll systems and processes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Sound Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
