Year 11 Maths Advanced Exam Preparation Tutor (Immediate Start)
Success Tutoring Epping is seeking an exceptional Maths Advanced tutor to lead an intensive Year 11 Preliminary Exam preparation program over the next 7–8 weeks.
We are looking for a tutor who thoroughly understands the NSW Year 11 Maths Advanced syllabus, has access to high-quality resources, and can confidently drive a structured revision program that rapidly identifies and closes knowledge gaps while building exam confidence.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing all Year 11 Maths Advanced topics and modules.
- Identifying weaknesses and prioritising high-impact revision areas.
- Creating and driving a structured week-by-week revision plan.
- Delivering an intensive crash-course style review of the entire Year 11 syllabus.
- Accelerating revision during the final 4 weeks leading into exams.
- Teaching efficient problem-solving techniques and exam strategies.
- Working through past papers and exam-style questions under timed conditions.
- Building speed, accuracy and confidence across all syllabus outcomes.
- Ensuring the student is fully prepared for Preliminary Exams.
What We're Looking For
The ideal tutor will:
- Have strong knowledge of the NSW Year 11 Maths Advanced syllabus.
- Possess their own comprehensive notes, resources, worksheets and exam preparation materials.
- Use AI platforms and modern learning technologies to enhance student outcomes.
- Create dynamic questions tailored to the student's strengths and weaknesses.
- Adjust question difficulty in real time and challenge students with extension-style thinking.
- Generate multiple variations of questions to reinforce concepts and test understanding.
- Use retrieval practice, diagnostic testing and targeted revision techniques.
- Be able to quickly identify misconceptions and teach alternative solution methods.
- Independently lead and manage a complete exam preparation program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching Year 11 or Year 12 Maths Advanced.
- High ATAR with strong Mathematics results.
- University studies in Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Studies, Commerce, Science, Data Science or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience using AI-assisted learning tools and adaptive question-generation platforms.

Pay: $24.95 – $35.00 per hour
